Upon initiating a traffic stop in Peru,
Vermont for an expired inspection sticker, troopers smelled the odor of burnt
marijuana. After acquiring consent to search the vehicle, 480
bags of heroin,
50.01g of crack, 15.43g of cocaine, 14g of an unknown substance believed to be narcotics, 10mg of marijuana, $833.00 in US currency and $1500 in Jamaican currency were found.

The occupants of the vehicle, Kwesi Wilson, Tanya Parker, Kennil
Forrester, and Melinda Forbes were arrested
and charged with felony trafficking of heroin and cocaine with intent to
distribute.
Wilson was on supervised release in the state of
Vermont and Forrester was on probation with the state of CT. The drugs are
suspected of being transported from Hartford, CT to the state of VT.
