Akhmad Abud, a 21-year-old international student from Uzbekistan is in stable condition after being stabbed in Wisconsin.
Three Jamaican students Felix Headley, Orlando Williams, and Shaquile McDonald Were arrested in connection with the stabbing.
It all started when Abud and a fellow Uzbekistani
student were walking when Williams allegedly struck Abud with his bicycle. An argument then followed and words were
exchanged.
The two men then encountered Williams and two other Jamaican men, Headley and McDonald, upon arrival in the Walmart parking lot. A verbal argument quickly ensuded amongst the group, and punches were thrown.
All five students were involved in the altercation
when Headley pulled out a knife and stabbed Abud. All three Jamaican males then
fled the scene. A passerby notified the authorities via 911 and the police
cornered and detained two of the men nearby. After interviewing the two
suspects, the third suspect was arrested after revelation of his whereabouts by
the two suspects.
